Windy J Farms is a full-service flower shop that officially opened its doors in June 2020 in Stockdale, Texas, offering services to anyone in and around Wilson County. Our store owner and operator, Kristina James, is no newbie in the floral industry. We guarantee to give our clients a professional and enjoyable experience while assisting them with their needs.
About Our Owner
Kristina James worked as a designer at a flower shop in San Antonio for quite some time. Later on, she got married, became a mom, and moved to the small rural town of Stockdale, where she purchased a local flower shop called Petal Patch. However, after being inspired by the sprawling cattle ranches in the area, she quickly changed the store’s name to MooValley Flowers.
Prioritizing Family Life
Kristina ran the business for more than five years and received a tremendous amount of success. However, she soon felt torn between wanting to be a business owner and being a mom and wife. After careful thought, she made the hard decision of selling MooValley Flowers to a lovely couple.
A Desire for Creativity
Under the new ownership, the shop ran for another five years, wherein Kristina occasionally assisted. During this time, she found herself missing the task of creating beautiful flower arrangements for the community.
The Beginning of Windy J Farms
When she found out that the current owners were possibly closing the store to pursue another business, she did not hesitate in deciding to reopen. This time, Kristina established a custom-only flower shop and built it in her family ranch. That is so she can successfully allocate her time between being a florist, a mom, and a wife.
